Had on tap at HomeD in State College. Poured into a snifter.
L: Pours a semi opaque deep golden color. Two fingers of creamy white head.
S: Smells like an imperial IPA. Citrus and evergreens, sweet and boozy.
T/F: Nicely balanced with sweet malts and citrus up front giving way to the expected hop bite towards the finish. Carbonation is aggressive and zesty on the mouthfeel.
O: A solid but not quite spectacular DIPA. One of Robin Hood's better beers though and hides its 10% ABV nicely. I'll be having it again.
