This was a solid rye beer. There was just enough spice to compliment the hops. This was one of the best beers that I had in my flight. I'd have this one again given the chance.

Had on tap in a flute glass at HomeD
L: Pours a dark and semi-opaque amber color into the flute. Moderate white head.
S: Rye bread and hops to the nose.
T/F: Rye! The rye bitterness nicely complements the hops. Piney and floral hops with biscuits/bread and malts there to be noticed. Very nicely balanced. Alcoholic sweetness but subdued. Moderate carbonation and an easy drinker.
O: Probably one of the 2-3 best beers I've had from Robin Hood, up there with their Longbow IPA. Very smooth beer, moderately hoppy and I love the rye flavor. It would be easy to throw back a few of these.
