Poured from a bomber into a tulip. - Sour mash barrel aged with blueberries as per the brewery description.
L: Pours a semi opaque medium golden/copper color. Hints of red/maroon. Thin white head. No lacing.
S: Tartness and berries. Minimal funk... fruity.
T/F: Tartness at the start.... just a hint of the blueberry, and I might not have been able to name it if it hadn't been listed on the bottle. Slightly acidic/citrusy and a bit of oak. Flashes of sweetness but mostly tart fruits. Thin and light in body. A little sticky on the tongue. Finish is tart with a mild aftertaste.
O: A pleasant enough semi-sour. Not much of a pucker which makes it very drinkable... especially with the low ABV. Would be a good summer thirst quencher, and the blueberries and barrel character give it enough to be interesting. I wouldn't decline having it again.
