Had this at the Strange Brew Festival 2018. Was better than the average beers there.
Pours a faded kind of pink, like it was equal parts yellow and pink added to get here, almost no head on it. The aroma was actually reflective of what the commercial tug job was getting at, largely strawberry with a slight amount of basil thrown in there like a summer salad.
The taste had more sweetness than desired. All these wild ales are trying to achieve balance at the festival, they are usually paired with lots of sweetness thereby destroying the kettle souring in terms of "sour". The basil is in the right complimentary role. Other than that, not much to speak of in terms of hops or malt. Just a one off beer made for a festival, don't look for this one to show up on Winco shelves.
