Got a 10 oz glass from the taphouse in Tijuana
Taste was good, malty, a bit hoppy but not enough.
An IIPA, but it only has medium body. There is some strange metallic taste in the aftertaste, not of hop, and not in a very good way.

Orange tinted gold. Pine and faint mango aroma. Bitter piney hop presence with subtle tropical fruit notes. Medium texture with crisp carbonation. Standard but, solid.

Pours a clear dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, grapefruit juice, pine needle, and earthy hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, pine needle, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a great mix of citrus and earthy hop characteristics that work together better in the smell to me.

L- Clear pale orange with floating bits of yeast. Fluffy long lasting white head. Consistency looks heavy.
S- Heavy on the citrus, very fresh aroma. Orange, tangerine, grapefruit, crisp hops.
T- Citrus and earthy hops, bready, lots of citrus peel bitterness. Underlying caramel malts bring good balance.
F- Heavy, chewy. Slightly dry at the end.
O- Very good Imperial IPA, all aspects are very well done and the chewy feel wraps it up nicely.

Amber color with a thick thin head with short retention but leaving a constant plate.
Nice aroma with notes of passion fruit, some pine, caramel malt, pineapple, grapefruit and lemongrass.
Very hoppy forward flavor, faithful to its 150+ IBUs. Notes of resin, grapefruit, passion fruit, tea bags, caramels, pine and tangerine. Dry aftertaste with a long lasting bitterness.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 7.7% abv is well disguised.
Great DIPA, bold and balanced for the style. Full of resiny and citric notes.

On tap at Baja Artesanal Gastropub next to Estadio Caliente in the Galeria mall. Super fresh pour in a pint glass with a nice deep golden color. No suspended solids as mentioned in a previous review. 1cm frothy head. Maybe it's the freshness but this DIPA was very good and would not be out of place in any bar in San Diego. Well balanced bitterness typical of a west coast DIPA. I enjoyed my second pint as much as the first. The Baja beer scene is promising.

Very nice mexican Imperial IPA. Strong bitterness, citric hops aroma and enough maltiness to balance. I think it might be a little bit more bitter than balanced but it´s not bad.
