delicious fresh pumpkin beer right here. CODA is on to something with this one, and with all their beer really, there isnt a dud in the lot. this one is mild on the spices, more of an earthy ginger and citrus flavor along with the pumpkin which is definitely not the norm. not made overly weighty by fall spices, and honestly could probably be seasonally appropriate all year around. sort of a caramel and red malt base, relatively hoppy, and honey sweetness dries out enough in the creamy frothy bubbly finish for it not to be too much. could be a little more pumpkin forward if i was being picky, and a curious coffee character flashes in for a second and is a tiny bit weird, but i like this a whole lot overall. real nice take on a style that tends to produce a lot of real samey beers. different for sure.
