16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of orange, grapefruit, pineapple and sweet caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

outstanding pale ale here, these guys somehow continue to fly under the radar, but they are making incredible beer, still not sure i have had one that i didnt really like. this is new school, dry hoppy, drinkable but substantial too, very well hopped, real fresh, balanced, and delicious. golden in color from the tap (good to see them getting some kegs out around town), clear, and with a tall rising white head on it, creamy lace on the edges of the glass, and an aroma bursting with west coast hoppiness, smells like on the edge of ipa really. i think i get mosaic up front, maybe some simcoe too, grapefruit, pineapple, and some honey in the middle from the grain. really bright and oily, highly refined, clean fermentation, and lingering hop dankness without much on the bitter side. its almost chuggable its so fresh and good. not an unfamiliar flavor profile at all, really nothing new, just enormously high quality and brightness to it. carbonation is there, decent body, slick from the hops, fresh as can be but not too new or green or anything. delicious and professional hoppy beer, ill drink this as often as i see it around!

Look - a clear, transparent, but interesting pale straw yellow color on this... gives nothing away, proper head, nothing ridiculous.
S - This is where it gets interesting. Weighty "grape" guava aromas waft out of the glass, the first give away it's not just a regular pale ale.
T - Finally, some character in a pale ale. Again at 6.7% it's not "just" a pale. Has the tropical notes you'd expect out of Motueka and the guava shows here, not sweet though. Just tropical influence... on the hops.
F - Good, might need just a few more CO2 bubbles to make it more lively but a great pale ale.
O - I'm perhaps over-estimating this based on origin story and the fact that it reminds me SO MUCH of Half Acre Vallejo, but I'm giving it high marks. Don't like it? I hate you. CHeers!

Attractive amber brew, just slightly hazy, with plenty of foam in the big Duvel tulip. Trying to think of intelligent descriptions of this stuff, but I can't help saying it goes down easy in a delicious mouthful of carbonation.
Malty and a little chalky with an herbal touch. Smooth, fruity, and finishes with a tang. Some orange taste, passion fruit, and a hint of tart pineapple. Not very bitter, but enough in the aftertaste to keep reminding you of the hops. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at the brew pub in Aurora.

Very nice, hoppy Pale Ale with citrusy hops and great mouthfeel.
Could definitely be passed off as an IPA.
Pretty impressive.
