16 ounce can poured into a Willi Becher.
L: Very clear reddish-amber pour, 3 finger tan rocky head, foam has good retention eventually settling to a thin cap.
S: Doughy bread and spicy hops at first, then corn aroma and caramel are more pronounced.
T: Strong toasted malt, very low sweetness, a touch grainy with some corn flavor, medium woody bitterness, dry finish.
F: Medium-weight body, high carbonation, crisp with a slight underlying creaminess that picks up as the carbonation dissipates, a bit chewy.
O: Decent, balanced more to hop than I like in an Irish Red.

Pretty good Irish Red Ale. Poured from a 16 oz. can into an iced tea glass, this beer features a beautiful lightly hazy amber/orange color. The color is bright and really looks good when held to a light. The white head is fairly small, with average retention. Good wide partial bands of lacing on the glass. High marks for appearance. The head is not impressive, but the beautiful color makes up for it. Aroma and taste are mostly bteady and biscuity malt with low bitterness. Quite tasty and refreshing. Mouthfeel is light and smooth. Good enough to be a session beer based on the low .abv and good flavor.

A can poured into a pint glass. Look had a 1/3" off-white foam head with an opaque pale reddish body and moderate effervescence. Scent has a malty quality to it with a touch of sweetness and breadiness present -- not noticing too much on the hops side. Taste matches well with a touch of a toasted/burnt quality and just a dash of hop. Feel is on the medium side with a slightly surprising amount of bitterness present in the aftertaste (surprising due to the lack of strong bitterness in smell or taste). Overall a solid offering that plays better than the sum of its parts.

Disclaimer: I am 1/3rd Irish and my middle name is Fred.
From a 16 oz. can poured into a standard pint glass.
Very typical of the style, pours a clear red-amber with a head that disappears quickly.
Taste is also exactly what is expected, mostly malty but light and crisp.
Very sessionable, makes me wish that there was a local pub open with this on tap.
