10 oz pour on tap at the source
A: nice soapy fluffy white head. Body is a rich amber orange in color with good clarity.
S: lots of honeydew tangerine lemon and grass.
T: alcohol comes through but soft honeydew, lemon, grass and sweet tangerine.
M: medium bodied light cling fairly clean
O: this is a solid DIPA. The citra hops shine the alcohol is a little too prevelant though.

Enjoyed at the brewery.
A - Poured a nice hazy milkshake orange golden hue with a fat two finger white head that faded to leave thin wisps.
S - Aromas of orange peel, pineapple, nice tropical notes. Really pleasant orange creamsicle like with great mangos.
T - Taste is similar to the nose great citrus peel, nice light tropical notes, pineapple and such. Nice fluffy malt backbone. Good bitter finish. Lots of fruit. Alcohol hidden well.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, not boozy.
O - Overall this beer was rather tasty, nice tropical notes. Really interesting.

Poured from a 32 oz growler.
Pours a slightly hazy golden color with an all-white head. Leaves considerable lacing around the top of the glass.
The aroma is very tropical, with notes of orange peel, mango, and grapefruit. Can detect the faintest hint of alcohol.
The taste, like the nose, is very tropical. I get the mango and grapefruit notes, as well as some melon. A bit of pine on the back end, as well as a subtle peppery, rye flavor from the malt.
The mouth is medium bodied with good carbonation. The alcohol is present but not overpowering.
Overall, a very impressive DIPA from a brewery I've only just been introduced to. This isn't the most well-balanced DIPA I've ever had, but the flavors and aromas are excellent. Hope to see more beers of this quality from these guys.

Never had been there before and stopped to get Beer Trail Stamp and I run into one of my favorite styles. I had no room in my car, long story, or I would have bought a growler. This beer is amazing stuff. Not a look that I'd associate with this style but is sure worked. I am lucky to have had this great beer.

Outstanding beer. Bought and consumed a fresh growler last night and it was one of the best beers I have tried in a while. Beautiful hoppy, floral, fruity smell. Citrus, melon, pine up front, mild pepper on the back end. Medium mouth feel and carbonation that hides the 8.2% dangerously well. I heard that this batch put out on 1/2/14 was the best batch yet - not sure because I haven't tried the previous ones but it was world class. Only sold on tap and in growlers so far. Austin St. is quickly becoming one of my favorite breweries in brewery rich Portland Maine.
