Solid NE IPA. Cloudy, hoppy (taste and smell) and GREAT on tap (my only experience). Granted it was a PERFECT summer night in Maine and the local dive bar was hopping, but the beer was nearly PERFECT! A little high ABV for me, but served in 12 oz mug so was good.

From a 16oz can, undated. Served in a spiegelau-style IPA glass.
Pours a hazy-murky, pale orange-gold with a big, fluffy, two-plus finger head of whipped froth. Retention is very good, leaving hanging gobs of bubbly lacing.
Medium nose of zesty lemon-lime, sweet peach and vanilla sugar cookie.
Taste is more or less in line with the aroma, less sweet, more bitter, but with the same lemon-lime, pineapple, peach and cookie thing. Unfortunately there's also a subtle solventy, gasoline or ethanol-like character that pervades the palate from start to finish. I can't think that this was what the brewer intended!
Feel is smooth and medium bodied with bright carbonation and a little lingering palate-coating petroleum slick.
Overall, a not particularly pleasant beverage. This is the first beer I've had from Austin Street which was anything other than totally excellent and I considered not even posting a rating or review. I had Yann Bandaña last time it was brewed and remember it favourably so I wish I'd reviewed it then. All I can say is I'll try it again next time and hope to leave a better review.

Canned 8/9/17; drank 8/16/17 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull yellow/orange rust appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice white head; a thick curtain of lace.
Banana, mild caramel & faint orange citrus notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Banana & mild caramel flavors up front; dry grass & faint orange citrus notes on the finish.
Not fruity enough for me with too much malt "backbone". Syrup-y. Drinkable but not overy enjoyable.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours an opaque golden orange color with a finger of bright white head. The head has decent retention, leaving a beautiful crown of lace around the glass before dissipating into a creamy film. The lacing is legit.
The aroma is full of pineapple and grapefruit rind, as well as a touch of lemon zest. The back end is dank as hell and lightly grassy
The taste follows the nose exactly. Tons of pineapple and grapefruit, followed by some grassiness and lemondrop candy. The grainy malt is present but only just. Finishes acidic with a very subtle bubblegum character.
The feel is medium-full bodied with pretty hefty carbonation. This one drinks a lot bigger than it is, going down crisp and offset by a thick creaminess that feels like a carbonated smoothie.
Overall, a truly great DIPA that has no qualms about shoving hops down your throat. There's not a lot of balance here, but the flavors are well done and anyone looking for a juice bomb would be excited to drink this one.
