was excited for this when I ordered it, but a little let down. poured a somewhat hazy orange/brown. smell was all citrus from the citra hops, no malt on the nose. the taste is what brought it way down for me: didn't follow the smell whatsoever, struggled finding the distinct citra flavors I picked up on the nose, but couldn't get over the huge resin taste and the roasty malt aftertaste that completely dominated the hops. feel was the only thing above par for me, but not enough to save the entire rating.

Pour a cloudy dark honey with a finger a head that settles to a solid cap with lots a sti cky lacing. A bit dank and oddly piney. Taste of pine resin. Full bodied and very enjoyable.
