We used a blend of Citra, Mosaic and Mosaic powder while playing with the whirlpool hopping time and temperature. Added a bit of oats in the malt bill to give this beer it's soft mouth feel and help balance out any perceived bitterness. This beer comes off as a mosaic bomb, with fruity tropical nose that has lingering fruit and citrus.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
A real nice clear bodied pale amber color, hints with real nice amounts of fine carbonation reaching to a fluffy and really tall four finger off white head. Good island puck and real good staying power. Good retention and lots of clingy lacing too, excellent looking IPA.
Really dig this hop aroma. Wonderful light earthy note, with a real spicy and sweet flavor. Hits a woody territory but also some candy light gum drop sweetness in the mix too. Exceptionally pungent but not ovebearing or out of control. Real nice.
Palate nearly hits the real big goods. Slightly juiced, but more a thick malt rich backbone that gives excellent support, with even hits of chewy texture and some light dark caramel sweetness. The mid palate is filled with a real spicy mix and tropical juiced flavor. The spicy tones win out, but is punctuated by some real exotic tropical fruit flavors it seems. Finish is also spicy warm, hitting white hot pepper and lingering bitterness with a soft texture still. Some thick citrus rind in here also, like marmalade but with earth.
Real unexpected IPA and a very unique hop profile, excellent flagship or base IPA.
