I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a hazy dark amber with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of sweet malt. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet bread coming through. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

On draft at the brewpub, pours a lustrous deep brown with a finger of thick tan head that leaves ample lacing. Creamy caramel aroma. Taste of caramel and toffee...sweet with a slightly dry finish.

On-tap 10/31/2014 at the brewpub, in Cranston, RI served in a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a deep brown color, with a short dense off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains maple, caramel, roasted malts and a touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of maple and caramel. Then a hearty roasted malt character comes in. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, very good representation of style, this is a very solid beer to drink for a long time.
