Poured from the tap into a tulip glass.
The color is a dark Amber/brown with s finger of foamy head and some nice lacing left on the glass.
The smell is a sweet fruity aroma with a slight grape skin and Belgian malt aroma mixed together.
The taste is malty as expected and had a real pleasant Belgian candy flavor hanging along the background.
This has really juicy fruit flavor that is a little Apple and a little grape as well.
The feel is medium bodied and is light toward the back leaving a great aftertaste. There is a drinkable feel that goes down pretty easy. A big beer that behaves like a session beer.

On-tap 11/16/2014 at the brewpub, in Cranston, RI served in a snifter glass.
A: The beer is a medium brown color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, brown sugar, Belgian yeast and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of caramel and fruit. Then some breadiness comes in from a hearty malt character and Belgian yeast. The hops presence is mild complementary and provides a good balance. There is also not much hint of the 10.00% ABV. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down dangerously easy, not too filling, strong and well-disguised kick, good representation of style, this is a solid stronger Belgian-style beer to sip on for a long time.
