On-tap 4/28/2017 at Brutopia in Cranston, RI, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light golden brown color, with a thin off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains citrus, grassy hops, coffee and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus, coffee and caramel. Then a strong but not over-powering grassy hops bitterness comes in. the malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp but not very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is dry and slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, decent kick, not the best representation of style, even considering the style variation this is just a mediocre beer at best.
