A smooth, defined chestnut beer. The chestnuts are smoke dried on chestnut wood and used in 50% quantity in the beer. The beer has a pale amber color with a very fine ivory head. The nose is lightly smoked with chestnut honey notes. The mouth feel is soft and corresponds to its initial notes.

The beer comes in a light brownish red color.
In general, the beer tastes of a Flanders red. A good amount of tart quality, barrel character, and cranberries, apple, cherries.
I confirmed with the bartender that I ordered the OEC.
This wild ale has basically no notes of brown ale or chestnuts.
