Blend # 2 (blended 8/7/2015). Drank December, 2024 out of a Hill Farmstead wine glass.
Flat but usually OEC beers hold up pretty well. Bouquet was OK. Taste was typically on the tart and acidic side, way too much for my taste but it mellowed a bit as it came to room temp. Not really up my alley, and likely nothing to do with age, especially given the prime aging conditions.

Batch #3. Pours a straw gold with a slight haze to the clarity and a tight band around the shoulders. Nose is light. Tropical stone fruits and salt. Taste comes off quite salty and diminishes the tropical fruit character. There's also a hint of lactic acid. Mouthfeel is light and bright. Overall, a very good nose on this beer but it comes off a bit too briny in the flavor department.

I love this brewery and I love this beer. And, of course, I'm in California where pretty much no one has even heard of it.
This one pours hazy dark yellow with a very fast fading white head.
Nose is light lemon, citric, acidic and fresh. Hints of green stone fruit.
Mouth feel is amazingly fresh, tart, citric, acidic, lightly carbonated and wonderfully balanced.
Flavor profile rocks! Very true to style and then you realize that it's way better but yet still true to style. Don't know if that makes sense but, for me, this is a bit of "gose on steroids." Just super citric and tart without being offensive. Hints of sweet; lots of citrus, light tangerine tones; light orange tones; floral tartness. Hey, you may not like this as much as I do but it's a really neat experience and really good with food too!
