Poured gently at 41°F from a 500ml (dated 14Jan16) bottle into a tulip. Consumed on 04Jul16.
SMELL: Intense aromas of sour green apple are supported by strong aromas of oak, currant, blackberry, and black cherry. Additional mild aromas of hay, earthy yeast, bell pepper, vanilla, and pine combine with subtle peach, apricot, nectarine, lemon zest, and wheat aromas to orchestate a complex symphony of smell .
TASTE: Immense waves of sour green apple initially pummel the palate and are instantaneously joined by mild flavors of currant, blackberry, black cherry, and hay. Further balance is brought to the tremendous tartness as mild bell pepper, pine, oak, and earthy yeast flavors enter while the currant, black cherry, and blackberry flavors become slightly stronger. Fruity goodness continues to expand as subtle peach, apricot, and nectarine flavors step on to the palate. The taste theatrical concluded with mild lemon zest and subtle vanilla and wheat flavors as all prior flavors persist.
NOTE: I can say with the utmost confidence that OEC does no wrong. These guys are doing de Garde level projects in my opinion. This is my last bottle from them for now. I can't wait to get my hands on more of thier treasures.

Does not really provide for me in the lambic category. More of an american wild. Nice overall, sour with great oaky notes. However if you want something more lambic/guezey OECs Tempus is where its at
