Blend of an imperial stout and barleywine, both aged in Willet bourbon barrels. Rich, round and decadent, no carbonation.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with no head or lacing.
This smells like the pleasant, sweet, and fruity kind of oxidation, boozy bourbon, caramel, roast, espresso, and breadiness.
This is really great and really unique. The stillness doesn't affect the flavor in a negative way - it almost makes it feel like a liqueur or a mead. There's bitter dark chocolate, earthy maple, espresso, caramel, and lots of roast, with a little bit of smoke, boozy bitter bourbon, and a touch of spicy oak.
As expected, this is still, and a bit thin. It's definitely a slow sipper, and not too boozy.
This was pretty great stuff. I can always expect OEC to make stuff that is unlike anything I've ever had before.
