Blend of a white ale (Coriander & peel) aged in oak foeders and a barrel aged saison that was in white barrels and neutral medium toast barrels. It is brewed with just enough sourness to focus the mind while also being incredibly thirst quenching makes this sour ale the perfect companion for any rigorous outdoor activities as Pétanque. This version was brewed with Citra Hops and matured in Granite.

L: Pours a straw to pale gold with great clarity. A gentle pour yields two fingers of fine white head that has good retention as it slowly settles to a 2 mm ring leaving a nice webbed lacing on the way down.
S: Definitely getting some lacto and brett funk; hints of hay and dark earth. Good amounts of lemon and a bit of white grape. A light spicy character.
T: Follows the nose pretty closely. Vinous and sour white grape on the front end with some grassy character and a bit of lemon coming in mid palate. On the backend sour lemon takes over and rides through the finish complemented by a some earthy and spicy funk. The sourness is present, but not overpowering.
F: This has a light body with medium to medium-low carbonation. The mouthfeel is a bit softer than the base beer with a bit of minerality and a balanced dryness on the finish.
O: This is a great one from OEC that expertly balances the witbier and farmhouse aspects. Highly recommended!
