A special anniversary edition of Tempus. It is a blend of 1 year old Tempus matured in oak barrels and 2.5 year old spontaneously fermented ale. It then undergoes intense bottle conditioning to become quite effervescent. Blend #3 – Comprised of 50% young Tempus matured in french oak foudre and 50% 2 year old spontaneously fermented ale matured in a Sangiovese cask. Blended on 7/10/2020.

This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells quite tart and wine forward, with lemony funk, minerals, white pepper, and grapefruit.
This is quite tart and very sour, but it's still undeniably delicious. There's a puckering and sparkling lemony acidity, a prickly and minerally funk, some peppery bitterness, lots of white wine barrel, some oak, and a bit of tart juicy grapefruit.
This is light bodied, with a soft and lower level of carbonation, and a fairly intense lingering acidity on the back end.
I think I prefer the regular Tempus for overall drinkability, but this is still a very cool beer to try.
