Look: it pours dark brown with a tan head. It has low head retention.
Smell: It has yeasty earthy aromas with some chocolate and nuts.
Taste: It has chocolate and roast with nutty nuisances. There are notable yeasty notes.
Feel: There is a touch of sweetness with bitterness in the finish.
Overall: The yeasty notes in the nose throw the aroma for me with the flavor being better.

Small head (~1mm, disappeared after a min or so. Rich dark color. Toasty with chocolate in the nose. More thin bodied than expected for this one (though ABV is low). A bit watery on the finish/mouthfeel. Oatmeal is tough for me to pick up, though not saying it's not there. Reminds me more of a brown ale than stout. Not bad, not great!

From a can. Pours a deep black with a several inches of tan foam. Smells of roast and oats. The flavor is sweet, oatmeal, and milk chocolate. The mouthfeel is smooth, creamy, and full bodied. Overall, a nice oatmeal stout.

Wow. Had this on cask and it was sublime. Nose was nothing but roast, body was velvety smooth and felt like it evaporated in my mouth. Taste was great as well. Nice roasty oatmeal stout.

I had this on draft 4/6/23 @ the Beer Temple.
Opaque dark brown appearance.
Sharp tan cask head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Fresh oats, mild chocolate & faint cream notes in the nose.
Smooth, creamy medium mouthfeel.
Fresh oats, mild chocolate & faint cream flavors up front; mild red berry notes on the finish.
A fantastic beer, especially on cask.

Had on cask. Opaque beautiful super dark brown body that is very still with a tan head and sudsy lacing. Smells of toasted malt, bakers cocoa, dry earth and a healthy bit of oatmeal. Taste adds oatmeal in earnest, really nice, sweeter malts create a brown sugar like finish to go with the toast and oatmeal that is so complimentary. Feel is velvet smooth, medium-light, mild chew, and drier. This is hit the spot!
