This pours a fairly dark brown color, still-looking, with no head or lacing at all.
This smells like dusty spice, black cherry, a deep port-ish sweetness, some leather, a touch of caramel, and fruit leather.
The regular Gorgoroth had a slightly chocolatey sweetness that I wish was here in this one. It’s slightly tart with lots of dark fruit, some leather, molasses, lots of port and wine, and a touch of rum spice.
This is medium bodied, and obviously still, with some slightly syrupy notes, and just a hint of booze.
This is a little bit worse than the bourbon barrel blend, but still a cool beer.
