First Class is a delightful session beer that balances a fruity & spicy Belgian yeast character with an intense burst of classic European hops. The authentic Belgian pale malts, along with a touch of wheat, give just enough body to balance out the lemony & floral notes from the dry hopping.

I think this is the first OEC beer I've come across with multiple ratings that are all rather low. Typically I see an average of at least 4 on their beers, so I'm a bit hesitant with this one. Who knows, maybe it'll surprise me. Let's crack it open and find out
Pours a hazy yellow gold with 2 fingers of soapy white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves decent lacing
The nose here is very bright, I'm all about this so far. I'm picking up on aromas of lemon juice, orange zest, biscuity malt, raw grain, grassy hops, white pepper, earthy wheat, and a touch of clove
It's a more grainy affair in taste, but still maintains a gentle tartness to keep it interesting. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting earthy wheat, raw grain, crackery malt, orange zest, white pepper, floral hops, and light honey. The swallow brings notes of lemon zest, crackery malt, honey, earthy wheat, toasted grain, white pepper, orange zest, and floral hops
A light medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a slick and crisp beer. Finishes a tad sticky but dries out over time
Sure it's not the best beer they've brewed, but I think it's a fun session beer with a decent level of flavor

Pours a thick frothy semi dense almost 2 finger head with good retention, nice lacing, hazy med orange color with some sediment
Nose starts yeasty, baker's yeast, bread dough, Belgian sweet malt, cracker, biscuit, a bit of sweet candy malt note, touch fruity, grassy hop
Taste brings more mildly sweet Belgian malts, doughy, cracker, yeasty, touch of fruity ester notes, more grassy herbal hop notes, a bit of bitterness, fresh dry hop notes, decent balance, drier finish with more grassy hops lingering
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, med to lower carb
Overall OK, nothing too great, some Belgian notes, a bit too yeasty, hops are OK without much character
