This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like coffee and chicory, with roasted malt, and pine.
This is a really solid, back to basics, old school black IPA. It’s very roasty, with a nutty and chicory-like bitterness, with pine and a touch of a citrus. There’s a little bit of creamy chocolate just on the finish.
This is medium bodied, creamy, and quite drinkable, with a nice lingering bitterness.
OEC is not always good at IPAs, but this IPA adjacent can is quite good.

Poured a cola colored hue from a pint can (marked PR#02030 on underside) into a Dogfish Head nonic pint glass with a frothy cream colored head that slowly receded leaving thick lacing. Aromas of toasted malts with hints of chicory & earthy pine also present. Taste is more malty than piney but it does show some mild bitter characteristics from the hops in the finish that linger. Medium bodied @ 6.5 ABV it's still very drinkable. Not one of my favorite of this style but still pretty good and enjoyable.
