Coolship Lager is brewed using a traditional double decoction mash and hopped with fine European noble hops. After the boil it rests in our copper coolship for 1 hour. It is then transferred over our baudelot cooler into our open tanks for fermentation. After a cool fermentation using a classic Czech lager yeast it is cellared for several months prior to release.

Canned on: ???? (Says "December Brewing" on the bottom of the can.)
A - Light medium gold with sprightly carbonation, frothy lacing, and a slight bit of haziness.
S - Spicy, floral, earthy, and grassy. The nose is really nice!
T - Crackery malt base with a touch of honey that quickly gets pounded down by a wall of earthy citrus, grassy, and floral hop goodness. Ends with a lingering grassy bitterness on the palate.
M - Medium body with light prickly carbonation and finishes on the dry side.
O - This is a really enjoyable Pilsner.
