A - Poured a deep brown colour, settling opaque with a very thin layer of light brown head.
S - A massive smoke aroma up front, reminiscent of Innocente's over-smoked imperial stout. I get no other aromas as the smoke drowns out the other components of the beer.
T - A big hit of smoke at first that immediately gives way to an unpleasant spice profile. It's hard to tell what the spices are, it's just a muddled mess of competing flavours that don't even remotely come together. As with the stout, the barrel doesn't come through at all.
M - Medium body. Light carbonation.
