On tap @ the brewery - pours a clear cola color with smallish tan cap...aromas are dominated by vinous tones until you let it warm to about 45deg. F...then you get the roastiness and dried fruit notes...body is moderate with a slick mouth feel and a round finished character...flavor is vinous, woody, roasty, with fig tones and some barrel funk...well attenuated as it goes dry in the finish...hides the alcohol well until you've had a few sips then the warming is evident...nice take on a Baltic with it's own character
