Musty funk on the nose is present but muted. Taste and feel are both a touch buttery, but not bad, just not impressive.

Hazed golden straw colour, ring of white head, no lace. Smell is quite heavy on the oak and white wine notes, fruity, lemony with raspberry taking the backseat, a light funk is present, lots of vinous qualities throughout. Taste is similar to the nose with big oak and chardonnay, lightly sweet up front, sugar dusted fruits, berries and lemon drops, drying mid palate into the finish, not as funky as the nose expressed. Light-med carbonation, light spritzy-crackling carbonation, syrupy medium body. Not bad, not a huge improvement on the base beer but still fairly enjoyable and drinkable.
