Poured from 750ml bottle into glass. No bottling date information found on bottle or on label.
Medium amber colored body, with reddish tones, slightly cloudy. Fizzy head on pouring quickly disappears. No lacing.
Aroma of raspberry, with green grape in the background.
Taste is tart, dominated by raspberry, but has vinous, oak in the background. Slightly sweet but mostly sour.
Mouth feel is medium.
This is a beer in Bank's 'Sour Series' but not much information is available on the label or from the website. It's a sour beer with lots of raspberry aroma and taste. Well done sour ale.
