On tap at the brewery taprooom.
Slightly hazy, dark amber body topped by a weak, bubbly head that leaves a little bit of spotty lacing.
Aroma: Mild and sweet for style, with more caramel than hops. Very little hop presence, in fact.
Flavor: hits the tongue sweet and malty, but there's clearly more hops than the aroma suggests. Hops kick in mid-taste and inger on into the aftertaste. Still, this is below average hop level for style.
Mouthfeel: Near medium carbonation with medium+ body. A little dryness in the finish.
O: an APA for those not fond of hops.
