On tap at the brewery taprooom.
Slightly hazy, dark mahogany body with red-brown highlights, topped by a weak head that soon reduces to a bubbly ring.
Aroma: Mild but moderately strong and lightly sweet, with ample sweet malt and dark roasted grain notes. Faint hops and faint alcohol esters.
Flavor: hits the tongue sweet and malty, but there’s enough hops to turn this nicely bitter-sweet..Dark roasted grain flavor builds and lingers on and on in the fine finish and aftertaste. Minimal burnt or char elements.
Mouthfeel: Light-medium carbonation with medium-full body. A little dryness in the finish. High ABV is admirably well hidden.
O: flavorful and dangerously easy to drink for over 11%
