Cloudy and spritzy in the little globe glass. The brewer says this is served "highly carbonated in the traditional style." It's plenty sudsy with a fine, prickly sensation.
Tangy and just a little tart. Fruit flavors of fresh cut green apple with a hint of pineapple guava. Really, this is what you'd hope for in a tart beer style. It has a touch of the sour character but none of the reckless acidity. Refreshingly tangy and splendidly drinkable, but they were only serving this in the little glasses.
This is a great mouthful of flavor that tastes more full-bodied than the low alcohol would suggest. On tap at the brewery tasting room just off Claremont Mesa Dr.
