16oz glass from the brewery – 10.09.15
Says this is brewed with experimental hop 05256 which is now coined Eureka I believe.
Unfiltered straw gold. Has that East Coast turbid IPA look. Maybe sans any pulp. Thin fizzy foam capper with minimal stick or hang time to it really. Perhaps it’s the glassware.
I get some dark green berry notes and a bit of jumbled citrus fruit with mild dank. Not particularly aromatic or distinctive in what is going on here. Flavor is much the same with some muted green berry, citrus and dank qualities. Malt is cracker like and balancing.
Very light and crisp on the palate with a nice drying sensation. Mild resinous linger to it.
Another easy drinker but again had me wanting for some more hop supremacy.
