July 20th, 2016 - Council's Sours are excellent, but there maltier, darker brews are excellent as well. Calm, cold and cool, this porter is indeed robust, with a nice malty thickness, a light smokiness, and a body that makes this easy to drink.

This was another really solid beer from Council. As expected the mouthfeel is a bit thin, but the flavor was very nice and balanced. Lots of roasted malts and aromatic darkness.
