Golden amber color with bubbles streaming in the Saxo Belgian wine glass. Thin and sharp. Resiny aroma. Woody, astringent edge. Some interesting aromatic notes of wintergreen.
Interesting spicy taste. Then there's a hint of something plasticky that makes this less than drinkable. It would be interesting to know how much rye is in this, maybe it's more than the usual amount of rye. From the 32 oz jug purchased at the brewery yesterday.
