Quarom IPA (Experimental Hop 07270)
Dark straw gold with peachy hazed and infused look. Dense finger high egg white head that retains well and leaves my glass blanketed with lace. The hops are a little muddled here but I get some ripe peach and citrus elements with a distinct spice note. Can’t quite pinpoint it. More profound spice note in the flavor with some herbal bell pepper. There is a healthy dose of pale malts and some caramel sweetness to this. Lighter citrus note. The base does offer up a wee bit heavier malt bill that leans towards the caramel side. Not in negative fashion as this is still nice and balanced. Moderate levels of filling body with a nice creamy texture and some drying crisp action in the finish. Mostly clean with some minimal hop linger.
Was just hoping for a little more out of this one but still nice to try.
