750 mL botttle into a teku-type tulip.
Apricot tan in color, a gentle pour forms a pillowy head that never recedes.
Candied orange, lemon pepper and corriander make the nose. Alcohol is barely noticeable.
The few years this has aged had done the brew well. More sweet than sour, as that candied orange aspect noted in the bouquet anchors the flavor profile. Oaky, tart with unripe raspberry nuances. Maybe hints of rubarb as well. Clean, short finish.
Wow, what a tasty beer. It’s weird reviewing a brew from a closed brewery...I wonder if this was the last bottle? Too bad...our loss.

Woofle Dust was the beer that broke in Council's inaugural Foeders, and it sure tastes like it. I got strange wood dust notes and unfortunately a butter popcorn Diacetyl-like flavor. Leathery on the tongue as well which seemed to confirm this. My friend who came with me thought the same thing, and he was the first to say it since I was trying to see what he thought first before saying so myself. Disappointing. Broken Wand with Raspberries was the only off-flavor free beer in this series from the "Magic Factory" (more like Diacetyl Factory) in my opinion.
