Draft at Memphis Taproom. Light and juicy. Hazy, pale goldenpour, small but sturdy white foamy head. Fruity, light hoppiness with a bit of funk. Almost juicy.

Picked up a single from TW Camelback on 6-14-18 for $5.99. No canning date visible. Cold stored since purchase; consumed 10-28-18.

Beer poured a cloudy golden orange with a nice soap bubble head.

Nose is a nice mix of orange and mango.

Taste is orange and mango with a slight touch of rind in the finish.

Mouthfeel is light bodied and kind of refreshing.

Overall a pretty good beer that probably was past its prime...would like to revisit if the opportunity arises.

Today is the ocCANsion of New CANned Beer Through Tavour Sunday (Week 693) & I am really curious about this one!

From the CAN: "Double Dry Hopped India Pale Ale"; "Community & Craftsmanship"; "CANned Fresh Keep Cold Sip & Repeat".

I Crack!ed open the vent & began a slow, gentle Glug, holding my breath & hoping for the best, but to no avail. It was another hazebro AIPA! Dang. It foamed up quickly, but I CANtinued my Glug until it finished with a finger of foamy, soapy, eggshell white head with modest retention. Color was a cloudy, turbid Yellow (SRM= 4), like well-whisked egg yolks. Nose had the now-familiar tropical fruit & vanilla sweetness, but not discernible bitterness. Mouthfeel was medium-to-full & I thought that part of the reason for the addition of lactose was to make it full & creamy. SMDH. The taste was actually pretty bitter, very much of grapefruit rind, pith & seeds as well as juice with a hint of tropical fruit flavors. Not bad. Finish was dry & bitter, almost too bitter, even for me. Between its presentation and its overall taste, one was enough.

Noticeably thin head with minimal retention, bright white, just no density to it at all, and as you’d expect the lacing is equally weak. Full haze to the otherwise vivid yellow color, fully opaque and you can make out one or two thin bubble beads if they are near the glass. Extremely citrusy nose of pink grapefruit, tangerine and a touch of lime, pine sap and tar, crisply tropical pineapple, kiwi, star fruit scents, all softened by a floral musk, little funk or herbaceousness, very good persistence. Full-bodied and close to viscously heavy, you have to consciously swallow to get it down. More herbaceous here in a positive sense, gives it more erectness and bite. Still, it’s the white to pink grapefruit and mandarin orange ruling the roost. The carbonation provides an uncommonly strong prickle, scrubs hard. Broader array of peach, nectarine to pineapple, papaya, passion fruit. Some pine and tea leaf, light dose of honey and breadiness, the malts well woven into the fabric. Certainly not a sessionable beer but for all of its weight and overly aggressive carbonation the intensity of flavor wins you over.

16 oz can poured into a pilsner glass.

Appearance
Hazed-out, milky blonde. 1 finger of loose white head. A few chunks of yeast plopped in.

Nose
Mango, passion fruit, dank, wintergreen, and orange cream.

Taste
Mango, passion fruit, peach, and orange pulp. Resinous, dank, and wintergreen. Candy sugar sweetness. Finishes with drying grapefruit pith and a slight aspirin bitterness.

Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, crisp, semi-juicy, and moderately bitter.

Overall
It's got the look. A tad more bitter and less juicy than its New England counterparts but the price is right.

LOOKS: A super hazy grapefruit with a 2" cap of white foam.
AROMA: 5 Alive juice, basically, tropical, citrus, and a little weed, too.
TASTE: Same as aroma; juicy, but not overly sweet. Mild building bitterness.
FEEL: Plenty of carbonation, smoothie, medium-ish body.
OVERALL: Tastes nice, a little more bitter than I expected.

Poured from a 16oz can into a speiglau ipa glass.

Look is an incredibly hazy yellow with a bubbly white head.

Aroma is strong tangerine citrus.

It is an incredibly juicy beer. Little bit of pithy hops at the end but mostly citrusy juiciness.
