Righteous hops and cherry aromas tell you this is not your ordinary red ale. A sexy complexion with buttery malts make this exotic brew something to be desired. Nuts and caramel build to form the perfect union of awesomeness in your mouth.

Tasted this one at the brewery and brought a big bottle home along with the presidential 4 pack of 12 oz. cans. The first two cans were disappointing, but the Red Ale bomber was as good as I remembered it from the tap room!!! Poured from a bomber into a pint glass, this beer features a mostly clear reddish amber color and an antique white frothy head. Head retention is pretty good with some bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma is strong and pleasant, rich caramel malt with a little grassy hoppiness. Taste is more of the same, rich malt, caramel sweetness and a finishing hops bitterness. Mouthfeel is rich and smooth, the hops balance the sweetness and overall this is far from a boring, weak Red Ale. I would drink this one again and would like to try some other Sick N' Twisted big beers. Their bottling (or canning) capability was down when I was there. All they had to take out was this beer and the 4 pack.

Served on tap at brew festival
Appearance: Thin off white head recedes leaving a bit of lacing. Color is a clear reddish-brown. No visible streaming carbonation.
Aroma: Strong caramel aroma, along with heavy malt presence akin to rising bread dough, some mild citrus hop as well.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied and sticky with a pleasant dry finish.
Flavor: Caramel is the dominate flavor, along with some nutty flavors and rich roasted barley. Finish has mild citrus and earthy hops.
Overall: outstanding. A very delicious beer. Not harsh and no off-flavors.
