Not a very good DIPA. Poured from a 12 oz. can into a pint glass. The can makes no mention of the .abv. The beer features a clear copper color with a small white head that fades fast. Leaves thin bands of lacing on the sides of the glass. Mild biscuity malt aroma. Nothing special. Taste is pretty mild too. Very mildly bitter with more pronounced biscuity and some caramel malt. Mouthfeel is weak. Somewhat light and watery for a supposed 10% .abv beer. Carbonation is sorely lacking. The beer produces a head, but otherwise seems pretty lifeless. Nowhere enough bitterness for a 10% .abv DIPA. Two more to go from the Presidential 4 pack. Hope George Washington and Teddy Roosevelt are better than the Abe Lincoln and Thos. Jefferson inspired beers.
