Bought as part of a mixed 4 pack at the brewery. I had high expectations for the Honest Abe since they had an awesome Imperial Red Ale that I sampled. The Honest Abe is very average. Pours a bright reddish amber with a small antique white head. Head retention is average and there is some lacing on the glass. Aroma and flavor feature some mild caramel malt and some very mild bitterness. Flavor is not bad. Mouthfeel is light and a bit lacking in carbonation. Not too bad, but there are much more lively Red Ales out there.
