Look - Dark amber cloudy beer with a slight head
Smell - lots of bourbon, sweet caramel
Taste - more mellow then the smell, but still bourbon. Maybe some vanilla caramel in there with it
Feel - medium body with medium light carbonation and a warming effect.
Overall - Pretty good. Taste like a bourbon barrel ale beer. Nothing else really.

1 Pint, .9 fl. oz. bottle
Served in a snifter
This beer pours a ruddy brown with copper highlights. It is hazy and topped with an inch of tan head that leaves virtually no lacing.
It is dominated by sweet bourbon notes. I smell caramel and vanilla with hints of bourbon. After it warms I pick up some date and fig aromas.
The taste is sweet. It starts with molasses. I also get some figs and dates. It is earthy.
Sticky, medium mouthfeel with low carbonation
This is a nice beer. The bourbon shines. I would be up for an audit if the IRS passes these out to take off the edge.

A - Deep, dark copper color with a bubbly, soapy tan lacing ring.
S - Sweet roasted toffee, vanilla, bourbon.
T - Vanilla, bourbon, sweet toffee roast, a little on the boozy side for 8.6%, delicate pine bitterness on the back end.
M - Full bodied, thick, sticky on 'da lips.
O - Like the bourbon barrel in this but the base beer needs a little something extra to inject more flavor to blend with the bourbon.

500 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Deep, dull amber. Almost no head. A few big bubbles.
Smell - Bourbon, caramel, brown sugar. Lots of oak. A bit of oxidation. Boozy.
Taste - Bourbon is nice. Brown sugar. Oak and some nutty malt flavors. I can't imagine it's oxidized, but it has some cardboard with it. Boozy finish.
Mouthfeel - Flat. Gets a little hot. Pretty sweet.
Overall - Very nice. Good barrel. Well balanced and doesn't get too sweet.
