A - Very nice, pillowy and persistent white head, clear body, yellow gold color. Good looking brew.
S - Grassy hops, a hint of lemon and pine. Pretty quiet.
T - Old school IPA flavors. The front is a very bitter hop hit, hints of medicinal herbs, a slight pith note, which fades slightly in the middle for a startlingly strong cracker malt note, closing with a return to the bitterness.
M - Crunchy and taxing over time, this beer has decent carbonation, but still builds with resin on the tongue. I got a growler over the weekend and needed to switch up with a different beer because a second glass had left me wanting a change.
O - There are quite a few positive elements, but the front of hop bitterness without a rounder hop experience available in many modern IPAs, whether East or West Coast, left me thinking that I'd probably pass this one by unless I am looking for a rough and tumble bitter blast.
