12 ounce bottle
Served in an IPA glass
Green capped bottle meaning it is single hopped with mosaic
It is a deep shade of amber or copper in color. It has burnt orange highlights when held to the light, and chunks of yeast are visible in suspension. It is topped with an inch of tan head that sticks around awhile leaving a little lacing as I drink it.
The first thing I smell is alcohol. It has a sweet smell with some pine.
The taste isn't much better. It is sweet and boozy with some pine through the middle and into the finish.
Medium to thin body with a lot of carbonation
I love Listermann's dark beers. I wish I could find an IPA from them to love. I had this one at the brewpub in the spring. I was hoping this would be better. I will not give up on their hoppy offerings. I am bound to like one because they are a good brewery after all.

Poured On draft into a snifter. Thin head but nice lacing. Very fragrant with a lemony, peppery taste with some pine. Very hoppy and bitter, but balanced overall. A nice double IPA.
