12 fl. oz. bottle
Served in a snifter
This beer pours what appears to be black, but once held to the light ruby highlights come through. It briefly has a skim of tan head that disappears quickly leaving no trace.
I smelled the bourbon and hazelnut right away. Then I noticed some caramel. Finally, as it warmed a little the cinnamon and vanilla come through.
All the components are in the taste. The bourbon, cinnamon and hazelnut are pronounced. The vanilla along with the cinnamon gives it a horchata flavor. The cinnamon lingers awhile in the aftertaste.
Full, slick mouthfeel with low carbonation
It is a tasty version of a great beer. If I have one gripe it would be that there is a little too much cinnamon for my taste, but I would not hesitate to pick up another bottle.

Cinnamon toast crunch. Balanced sweetness and body. The cinnamon is the star but the vanilla is there in the nose and the finish. Hints of a bourbon note.
