12 fl. oz. bottle
Served in a Listermann/Triple Digit can glass
This beer pours black and is topped with half a glass of lively tan head that doesn't leave a whole lot of lacing.
The smell has peanut butter, milk chocolate, and maybe hints of grape jelly. I am trying to figure out if I am just imagine the grape jelly smell from the power of suggestion.
The taste is sweetened peanut butter and mildly bitter chocolate. I get some grape in the aftertaste.
Full mouthfeel
I enjoy Nutcase. The ones they have been doing with fruit jelly of jam seem to lack the fruit flavor. This is a good beer. I don't know if the fruit fades or the peanut butter and chocolate flavors just overwhelm the fruit. It is still worth a try if you like Nutcase though. Maybe my simple palate is not evolved enough to discern all the flavors that I am supposed to get.
