12 fl. oz. bottle
Served in a snifter
This beer pours very dark brown in color. It is topped with less than an inch of tan head that disappears quickly leaving no lacing.
The smell is nice. It of course has plenty of hazelnut, but the chocolate and even the marshmallow are detectable.
The taste is full of hazelnut thanks to the base beer. The chocolate and marshmallow up the sweetness factor considerably. The chocolate gives it a dessert beer vibe.
Medium to full mouthfeel
I am a huge Chickow! fan. I prefer the base Chickow! to this version. This version is good, but a little too sweet compared to the original. This was interesting to try though and by no means a bad beer.
