Triple Digit Series: Aftermath: Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

12 ounce bottle, no dating that I could find. Served in a thistle glass, the beer pours a dark brown color with about an inch and a half light tan head. Head retention is good, and there's a small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like candied pineapple, brown sugar, caramel and some bourbon. It tastes like pineapple, bready and toasted malt, caramel, brown sugar, bourbon and some vanilla. The bourbon character in this isn't very strong but still noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit coating and has a moderate amount of carbonation. This really does remind me of a pineapple upside-down cake, Triple Digit did a good job with this one! Glad I picked this one up, I'll have to try some of their other brews in the future. $7.49 a bottle.
