A - Standard NE IPA pour of pale orange, cloudy to partial opacity, a hint of translucence. Head is short, white, with small bubble lacing.
S - Nose is full of hoppy citrus. A bit of chalk, and a resin note round out, but mostly strong grapefruit juice and peel.
T - Follows the nose, with an explosion of grapefruit juiciness in the front, highlights of orange and tangerine, a middle of mild sweetness that hints at the presence of the malt, and a strong pith kick building into the close. The finish is surprisingly bitter for a NE IPA.
M - Moderate weight, high for the ABV. The carbonation is solid, and the finish quite dry and lingering, but does not turn chewy.
O - Picked it up when I saw it because it is so rarely in circulation. Just got lucky that Jungle Jim's had had a Listermann event the night before and I was able to pick up some of the leftovers. A tasty middle ABV NE IPA.

16 ounce can
Served in a nonic pint glass
This beer pours a grayish, brownish, 1970's shade of yellow. It has the New England haze that all the kids crave. It is topped with a couple inches of off white head that leaves little lacing.
The aroma is mild tropical fruit with hints of pine.
I get tropical fruit with mango taking center stage. This is mild pine and grapefruit in the finish. The flavors are not real intense.
Full mouthfeel
It is a very good beer, but there are better options out there. I prefer Listermann's Lil Jimmy. But this beer helps out a pour little hippo, so there's that.

New England Style IPA (25% of the proceeds go to #TeamFiona). Poured from a can into a Bad Tom Smith pint glass. The pour looks like orange juice. It is light mango in color, cloudy as heck, and sports a finger of white foam on top. Very faint nose on this. I get some orange juice, lemon zest, and some pineapple.
Medium body with a nice citrusy flavor and a firm feel. Follows the nose well. Fresh toast, then oranges and pineapples. Very soft bitterness throughout. Wonderfully drinkable and refreshing.
This beer is really, really hard to get here in Cincinnati because Fiona is something of a local (heck, national) celebrity. It is September 4 and this beer was canned way back on June 9. I wasn't expecting much considering its age, but it has held its flavor together extremely well (perhaps the person I got it from kept it properly cold). I hope Listermann continues to sell this beer (even after little Fiona isn't so little anymore). I'd love to try it fresh
